Lincoln Police are investigating after a van went off the road near N. 4th and NW Adams around 1:00 Wednesday afternoon and struck the side of a trailer home home. LPD believes the driver of the van suffered a medical condition, causing her van to leave the road.
It went down a steep embankment before hitting the home on Evans Avenue. LPD says a black SUV driven by another woman who witnessed the crash pulled over to offer assistance. While checking on the other driver, her SUV was clipped by an LPS bus.
LPS officials say none of the kids on the bus were injured and they were transferred to another one. Neither the bus nor the SUV sustained major damage. KLIN’s Chris Lofgreen was at the scene and says the bus driver apologized to the woman.
