Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews were called to Shanahan Brothers Construction near 59th and West O Street around 10:45 Tuesday night. LFR Public Information Officer MJ Lierman says when they arrived one semi was on fire and was spreading to a second semitrailer.
“We had to call Southwest Fire Department to help get the water source.” She says the semi that was on fire is a total loss and the second one sustained an unknown amount of damage. The cause of the fire is not known.
