A semi trailer loaded with flour went up in flames in northwest Lincoln just before 9 p.m. Monday.
The driver saw smoke coming from the trailer and pulled to the side of the road near Highways 34 and 79. The driver was able to detach the trailer from the tractor and separated the two.
The trailer was loaded with 42,000 pounds of wheat flour. The loss is estimated at $10,080. The trailer is also a total loss and was estimated at $50,000.
Malcolm Fire and Rescue responded to the fire. No one was hurt.
