Waverly Fire and Rescue and the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office were called to a fire at 5:35 p.m. Monday, March 7th at 14680 N. 141st due to a tractor fire.
Lancaster County Chief Deputy Ben Houchin says a man had plugged in a John Deere tractor and he saw sparks. He got on the tractor ad drove it to an open area where it started burning.
The tractor was valued at $30,000 and is a total loss. No one was hurt.
