A barn located at 1801 SW 44th Street is a total loss after a fire around 5:48 a.m. Friday morning. Lancaster County Sheriff’s deputies and fire crews responded and found the barn engulfed in flames.
No one was hurt and there were no animals being housed in in the barn.
The barn’s estimated value was $25,000. The contents that included a pickup, an ATV, a Bobcat, horse tack equipment, and farm implements totaled $23,000 and is also a total loss.
The State Fire Marshal is investigating and the cause is not yet known.
