Munch Madness XVI
It’s that time of year again: Munch Madness XVI on KLIN, brought to you by the University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union!
Your nominations on Selection Show Friday (February 21st) helped us fill out this year’s Nebraska Sign bracket of 64 local restaurants in Lincoln and the surrounding area! To be included in the bracket, restaurants must be local (originated in Nebraska with at least one location in or within 25 miles of Lincoln) and not considered a “chain” (more than 5 restaurant locations outside of Lincoln).
Voting for Lincoln’s favorite local restaurant will begin on March 12 with new matchups every weekday! Voting matchups are spread out so each restaurant has a chance to be highlighted. View the full voting schedule below the bracket.
Everyone who votes will be entered to win a $50 gift card to one of the Final Fork restaurants! As always, we hope our friendly competition brings some great exposure to many deserving local restaurants.

ROUND TWO – 2 matchups each day
- March 24: Cayenne Region A
- March 25: Cayenne Region B
- March 26: Basil Region A
- March 27: Basil Region B
- March 28: Oregano Region A
- March 31: Oregano Region B
- April 1: Paprika Region A
- April 2: Paprika Region B
SAVORY SIXTEEN – 2 matchups each day
- April 3: Cayenne Region

EAT EIGHT – 2 matchups each day
- April 9: Cayenne & Basil Regions
- April 10: Oregano & Paprika Regions
FINAL FORK – 2 matchups all weekend long

- April 11-13: Cayenne vs Basil and Oregano vs Paprika
CHOMPIONSHIP – last matchup
- April 14: Final round of voting between remaining two restaurants
