The midterm elections are fast approaching, and so too are voter registration deadlines. Friday, Oct. 21, is the deadline for mail-in and online voter registration.
Registration by mail must be postmarked by Oct. 21. Dave Shively, Lancaster County Election Commissioner, talked to KLIN News and said, “If voters are going to use our online voter registration system, they must do that by midnight on October 21st.”
Shively continued, saying, “If you’re registering to vote in conjunction with getting your driver’s license or other assistance programs through the state or local government, that’s the deadline for that as well.”
This year’s midterms fall on Nov. 8.
