Lincoln Police have arrested two teenagers after several shots were fired near 12th and Arapahoe around 5:30 Wednesday afternoon. Lincoln Police say two rounds struck the windshield of a car, causing $1,000 in damage.
Officers found six spent .45 caliber shell casings at the scene. Captain Todd Kocian their investigation led them to a home near 11th and B Street Thursday afternoon where they arrested the two individuals.
“19-year-old Monterell Debose and a 17-year-old male were taken into custody without incident. Debose was arrested for unlawful discharge of
a firearm, use of a firearm to commit a felony and possession of a firearm by a prohibited juvenile offender,” Kocian says.
The 17-year-old was booked for aiding and abetting and was taken to the Lancaster County Youth Services Center for aiding and abetting. Police recovered a .45 caliber handgun believed to have been involved.
