Hy-Vee is recalling eight cheese products after it was notified that some of them may have been contaminated with Listeria. The supermarket chain says no illnesses have been reported, and that it is voluntarily recalling the cheese “out of an abundance of caution.”

Below is a list of the products Hy-Vee has recalled:

  • Cranberry Brie Torte (Brie Hostess)
  • Apricot Brie Torte (Brie Hostess)
  • Triple Crème Brie, Montamore Cheddar, and Aged Gouda Cheese Board
  • Sparkling Fruit and Cheese Board
  • La Bonne Vie Domestic Double Crème Brie (cut and wrapped)
  • La Bonne Vie French Double Crème Brie (cut and wrapped)
  • Bon Appetite Gift Basket
  • Deluxe Delights Gift Basket

Hy-Vee was notified of the Listeria by Old Europe Cheese, Inc, which produces cheese that Hy-Vee carries.  The expiration dates of the cheese in question range from Sept. 28 to Dec. 14. Customers who bought these products are encouraged to discard them or return them to their local Hy-Vee for a full refund.
