Residents of a 12 unit Lincoln apartment house made it out safely after fire broke out around 9:30 Wednesday morning. Firefighters arrived on the scene at 1410 F Street around 9:30 a.m.
“Upon arrival our crews were able to find the fire in a hallway on the second floor,” says LFR Captain Nancy Crist. She says they were able to quickly put the fire out and prevent it from spreading.
Crist says 10 of the 12 units are occupied. Investigators are trying to determine what started the fire and how much damage it caused.
