A Lincoln man who was serving time at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution has died while in custody.  Department of Corrections officials say 41 year old Kevin Miller died Thursday, August 25 at the Johnson County Hospital.

Miller was serving a life sentence on charges out of Lancaster County for first degree murder and use of a firearm to commit a felony.  He was convicted and sentenced for killing his wife Kelsey.  Her body was found in a Lincoln storage facility.

While the cause of death has not yet been determined, Miller was being treated for a medical condition. As is the case whenever an inmate dies in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services a grand jury will conduct an investigation.
