Husker football players aren’t the only ones who will be taking the once-in-a-lifetime trip to Dublin, Ireland this weekend. When the Huskers take the field against Northwestern they will be hearing the sounds of the Cornhusker Marching Band.
The students who are going to get to go, it’s going to be a great trip,” says Band Director Tony Falcone. “We’re sending a small group of 50 and two directors to do that. They will be there about three days, play the game and come on back.
Falcone says most of the band members making the trip are seniors.
