The Nebraska Department of Transportation announces that work will start on a railroad crossing project August 4th on S-55G, west of Hickman.
Weather permitting, the work will be done by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. A detour will be marked. Work is expected to take two days.

Drivers are asked to be cautious in and near work zones, buckle up and put the phones down.
