Lincoln Police are investigating a burglary at the Devall Insurance Agency at 2152 S 56th Street over the weekend.

Police talked with the owner called police just before 6 a.m. Sunday to report two separate burglaries.

The first happened Friday just before midnight when an unknown person walked up to the business from the alley and forced the back door open. The office area is not accessible from that door so the person left without taking anything.

On Sunday, just before 1 a.m., it appears the same person walked up to the building from the alley and broke out a window on the porch area and entered the office.

The owner reported that a 1997 Orange Bowl Commemorative watch was taken along with a Tom Osborne signed mini helmet, and an acoustic guitar. The value of the stolen items is estimated at $570 and damage to the building at $200.

The investigation continues.
