The City of Lincoln has issued a mask mandate for all city employees due to an increase number of COVID-19 cases.   The move comes after the Risk Dial was moved to orange last week, indicating a high risk of spread in the community.

A spokesperson for the mayor’s office says the new mask mandate policy was signed July 14 and went into effect immediately.  There is no end date yet.

The policy means employees are required to wear a mask when interacting with co-workers, the public or in group meetings with two or more people.
