The Nebraska Department of Transportation released the June traffic fatality report. There were 23 people killed in traffic crashes on Nebraska roadways .

The 23 fatalities occurred in 20 crashes. Ten of the twenty vehicle occupants killed were not using seatbelts, six were using the safety device, and four had usage marked unknown.

Fifteen of the facilities were in rural locations, four were on the interstate, seven on other highways and twelve on local roads.

Three of the fatalities were motorcyclists. Three fatalities involved a train. One of the fatalities was driving an ATV.

There were 29 fatalities in June of 2021. Only 35 of the 105 vehicle occupants killed during 2021 were wearing seatbelts.
