Lincoln Police are investigating two vehicle fires.
Police and Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to the 7300 block of Candletree Lane at 2:19 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12th. A 2014 Buick Lacrosse was fully engulfed in flames. Investigators determined the fire was due to electrical problems in the dash.
At 2:48 a.m., LPD and LFR were called to the 800 block of Roanoke Court. LFR put out a fire in the back seat of a 1999 Honda Accord. A textbook had been lit on fire and put in the rear passenger floorboard. Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $800. This is being investigated as an arson.
