Some scary moments for a Lincoln woman and her two children on the Fourth of July. LPD says around 3:30 p.m. the 23 year old woman reported she was driving in the area of 12th & A Street with her two young children when she noticed a white sedan following them.
The victim reported hearing gunshots before the white sedan turned and sped off. When the woman returned home, She noticed 6 bullets had struck the rear of their vehicle.
Officers conducted a check of the area and located six spent 9mm casings near the intersection of 12th & B Street. The investigation is ongoing.
