Mike Flood will fill out the remainder of Jeff Fortenberry’s term following Tuesday’s special election. Final totals show Flood receiving 53.17% of the vote to Patty Pansing Brooks 46.83%.
The vote difference was 7,155.
Lancaster County voted 56.6% for Pansing Brooks while Flood tallied 43.4%. Lancaster was the only county in the 1st district that Pansing Brooks won.
