Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to 2701 N 70th Street around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday morning after reports of a fire on a 3rd floor balcony.
A 48 year old woman was taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation. She was assisted from the building by LFR crews. She was last listed in stable condition.
LFR investigators say the fire started on the balcony and spread to an exterior wall. There is an estimated $10,000 in damage. No other units were impacted by the fire. The cause remains under investigation.
