Expect storms to form along a front from far southeast Nebraska into far southwest Iowa by this evening. A few of these storms may be severe with large hail or damaging winds, mainly between 6 PM and 10 PM.
Another round of thunderstorms is forecast on Thursday, with the potential again for a few severe storms, mainly in the afternoon and evening hours.
Temps will stay on the warmer side for a few more days, especially Friday, but cooler temperatures are on the way for the weekend.
