An employee of the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution had several items stolen while dining at a Lincoln restaurant. LPD Sergeant Chris Vollmer says the victim reported the theft on Saturday.
Vollmer says the victim was dining at a restaurant on “O” Street the previous evening and after leaving, began noticing items missing from their truck.
The victim says among the missing items are uniform pants, shirts, ballcap, ID Badge and duty belt. No damage was observed to the vehicle, and the estimated loss of all missing items is $3,129.
There are no suspects at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
