Unemployment numbers continue to tumble in Nebraska. For the week ending May 1st, there were 1,311 new regular pandemic claims filed and 10 new Pandemic Unemployment Assistance claims filed.
Continued unemployment claims totaled 7,270, down 693 compared to the week ending April 24th. Regular PUA claims were down 24 at 2,555.
Nebraska paid out $7.4 million in total payments last week compared to $8.4 million the week before.
