Lincoln Police say they found a 12, 14 and 16 year old boy in possession of three stolen guns in the the 500 block of N 28th Street Monday morning.

Around 8:00 a.m. officers were called to a home in the 3300 block of Dudley Street to investigate a burglary.  The residents told officers two handguns and a rifle were among the missing items.

They had been out of town, but believe entry was made through a broken window sometime over the weekend.  Someone then called officers Monday evening to report a group of juveniles walking in an alley carrying guns.

Officers contacted the group of teens and the missing guns were concealed on three members of the group.  They were referred for Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Unlawful Possession of a Handgun.

The 14 and 16-year-olds were detained at the Youth Detention Center. The 12-year-old was returned home.  Police have not said who stole the guns and the investigation is continuing.
