Lincoln Police say two people were killed and 19 people were hurt in a crash near 52nd and ‘O’ Street late Sunday night. LPD confirms two female occupants in one of the vehicles involved were killed in the crash, which happened around 11:00 p.m.

Police say 19 people were taken to the hospital with injuries, including one with life threatening injuries.  Bryan Medical Center issued a statement Monday morning saying they cared for 10 people injured in the mass casualty incident.

Seven went to the Bryan West Campus and three were treated at the Bryan East Campus.  Of those 10, two were admitted – one in critical condition and one in serious condition.  Eight patients were treated and released.

LPD says they had gathered on the sidewalk during a Memorial Day cruise event.  Police say the two vehicles that collided jumped the curb and struck the spectators, who were watching the classic cars drive by.

The investigation is continuing.
