A woman is in custody after a pursuit with Lancaster County Sheriff’s deputies late Thursday night near Branched Oak Lake. Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner says it began around 11:30 p.m. near 126th Street and Raymond Road.
“The deputy was trying to stop a pickup truck for speeding. The driver failed to stop and the pursuit continued west on West Raymond Road,” Wagner says. “The driver lost control and entered the ditch near 140th Street.”
Wagner says the driver kept going and they terminated the pursuit because the truck was nearing the crowded campground area. The truck was eventually found in a driveway behind a house. After executing a search warrant they were able to arrest 35 year Robin Collins.
She was booked for fleeing to avoid in a vehicle, willful reckless driving and driving under suspension. She also had several warrants.
