Damage is extensive after an SUV crashed into the front of the Pioneers Heart Institute at 70th and Van Dorn around 7:00 Tuesday morning.
“Arriving officers observed a Honda CRV had struck the front of the building. Contact with the driver found they were parking in the lot when the accelerator was possibly mistaken for the brake,” says Sergeant Chris Vollmer.
Damage to the building is estimated at $50,000. No citations were issued.
