Lincoln Police are investigating the shooting death of two men and the injury to a third victim.
At approximately 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, May 22, officers responded to the area of 30th and P St after a man called 911 to report he had been shot. Officers found two shooting victims inside a residence. In spite of life-saving measures both men, ages 42 and 26, succumbed to their injuries.
A third shooting victim arrived at a local hospital shortly after the original call. The 19-year-old man is in serious but stable condition.
No suspects are currently in custody.
In a news release, Lincoln police reported the investigation is in the very early stages and believe this to be an isolated incident and there is no further threat to the public related to this incident.
