A triple shooting overnight in downtown Lincoln left 2 people hospitalized, 1 with life-threatening injuries and one in critical but stable condition. The 3rd person shot was treated and released.
Lincoln Police were in the area of 11th and O just before 2:40 am when they heard gunshots and responded within 1 minute. Police administered first aid until LFR units arrived according to the LPD Twitter timeline.
O Street between 11th and 12th has been closed for several hours to pedestrian and vehicle traffic while the investigation continues. O Street may be closed through the morning hours.
LPD’s Twitter posts this morning reported no arrests while they do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.
