Lincoln Police uncovered a crime trail after responding to an argument between a man and woman in the driveway of a home in the 4400 block of South 45th Street Thursday morning.
“The male left the area prior to officers’ arrival, in what was later determined to be a stolen 1995 Chevy pickup,” says sergeant Chris Vollmer. He says the truck was driven by 26 year old Skyler Hutchison, who arrived back at the S 45th street residence while police were still there.
“While processing the recovered vehicle, officers located a blower and trimmer that were later determined to have been taken during a burglary in the 4200 block of Bingham Ln. An ID was also located on Hutchinson, later determined to belong to a victim of a larceny from vehicle on the same block,” Vollmer says.
He was booked into jail for Theft by Receiving Stolen Property.
