A 29 year old Lincoln man was killed in a head-on crash with a semi Tuesday morning in Seward County. The sheriff’s department says it happened just before 8 a.m. on Highway 34 near 210th Road.
Investigators say Beau Connely was westbound on Highway 34 when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided with the eastbound semi. Connely died at the scene.
The accident is being investigated by the Seward County Sheriff’s Office and Nebraska State Patrol. “The Seward County Sheriff’s Office and staff offer condolences to all friends and family members affected by Tuesday’s tragedy,” the department said in a statement.
