Lincoln Police arrested a Cincinnati man after several vehicles were vandalized at the train station on Pinnacle Arena Drive early Saturday afternoon.
“A witness called police reporting a male was vandalizing parked vehicles with a shovel,” says LPD sergeant Chris Vollmer. “Upon arrival, officers located 22 year old Anthony Q Williams. Williams advised he was agitated after being kicked off an Amtrak train which was passing through Lincoln.”
Officers found 11 vehicles with broken windshields, side windows and back windows. One vehicle still had a shovel lodged in the back window. Total damage was approximated at $7,500.
Williams was booked in jail for vandalism.
