Lincoln Police responded to the intersection of 15th and A Street around 6:30 Thursday evening on a report of a robbery. Sergeant Chris Vollmer says when officers arrived they contacted the 45 year old victim.
“Victim reports asking a friend for a ride from Lincoln to David City. The friend directed the victim to a male known to the friend, but not the victim, Vollmer says. “Victim reports during the drive the male suspect displayed a knife and a revolver, demanding the victim turn over their phone and the rest of their luggage.”
The total loss is around $700. The investigation is ongoing.
