The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office released more information on Tuesday’s deadly accident at 70th and Revere Lane.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln Police, Lincoln Fire and Rescue, Hickman Fire and Rescue, and Southeast Fire and Rescue responded to the two-vehicle crash at the intersection.
The two vehicles involved were traveling in opposite directions on S. 70th and collided head-on. Haroon Sediqi, age 57 of Lincoln was taken to Bryan West where he was pronounced dead.
Noriza Perez-Perez, age 39 of Lincoln was taken to Bryan West for non-life threatening injuries.
The Lancaster County Attorney’s Office ordered an autopsy. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash. Perez-Perez was wearing a seatbelt. Sediqi was not restrained.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team responded to the accident scene and the investigation continues.
