A Lincoln Police officer located 21 year old Jahhrasta Fletcher sitting in a vehicle near 22nd and E Street around 3:30 Wednesday morning. A few minutes earlier the officer had seen Fletcher at an area gas station and discovered that his driver’s license was revoked.
Fletcher was taken into custody. Police were conducting an inventory search of his vehicle before towing it and found a Beretta 9mm handgun under the front passenger seat. The handgun was reported stolen out of a vehicle in June of 2021.
Fletcher was arrested for possession of a stolen firearm. He was also cited for driving during revocation and for carrying a concealed weapon.
