The Lincoln – Lancaster County Health Department reports another death from COVID-19 Tuesday, a man in his 50’s who was hospitalized and vaccinated. The number of deaths now totals 438.
There are 12 new virus cases Tuesday bringing the total to 69,811.
There are 17 people hospitalized.
At-home test kits are available in the main lobby of the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department, 3131 ”O” St., during regular business hours. Test kits are also available at all Lincoln City Library locations.
Lancaster County residents can report results of their at-home COVID-19 tests to the Health Department and receive helpful quarantine and isolation information.
The Health Department will host two large-scale vaccination clinics at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Tuesday, April 26th from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Wednesday, April 27th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Both clinics will offer first and second doses for those 5 and older, first booster doses for ages 12 and older, and second booster doses for those who are eligible.
The Health Department is contacting vaccine recipients who fall within the current recommendations to schedule second booster dose appointments. Walk-ins are also welcome at either arena clinic or residents can schedule an appointment at COVID19.lincoln.ne.gov. Masks are required at LLCHD vaccination clinics.
