Lincoln Police are looking for a man after shots were fired in a neighborhood near 27th and Potter Thursday afternoon. LPD says the resident told officers a man he knew tried to get into his home through a window around 12:30 p.m.
LPD says he confronted the suspect in the front yard and a single round was fired from the handgun brought by the suspect into the ground. No one was hurt and the suspect fled the scene prior to police arriving.
The investigation is ongoing.
