1/3 of an inch of rain was recorded officially by the National Weather Service at the Lincoln Airport Tuesday as strong storms moved through the area.
Several severe thunderstorm warnings were issued along with a tornado warning however no reports of damage have been reported.
Winds were strong and gusty with peak gusts near 60 miles per hour. The storms also dropped some small hail.
Strong winds are expected to continue today (Wednesday) with a Red Flag Warning from noon to 9 pm. West winds today are expected to be 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph.
