For the High Wind Warning, northwest winds 30 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.
For the Blowing Dust Advisory, visibility between one quarter mile and one mile in blowing dust.
These advisories cover Seward, Lancaster, Saline, Jefferson and Gage Counties.
Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility are expected. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Use extreme caution when driving by agricultural fields which may provide a source for blowing dust. Visibility may be highly variable.
Use caution and be on the lookout for rapidly changing conditions, especially along busy driving corridors such as I-80.
Motorists should not drive into an area of blowing dust. Remember, Pull Aside, Stay Alive. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
