The University of Nebraska – Lincoln consulted with the Lincoln Lancaster County Health Department and determined it is time to end its COVID-19 random mitigation testing program. A news release states that COVID-19 infection rates are low within the campus community There was a zero percent positivity in random mitigation testing during the week of March 28th.
The University may return to random testing if necessary in the future due to local increases in virus cases.
