A group of juveniles were causing a disturbance at the Country Inn & Su9ites at 5353 N. 27th Street around 1 a.m. Saturday, March 19th. Lincoln Police were called to the area and a group of individuals were leaving when officers arrived.
Officers did make contact with 19 year old Said Almustaqiim who was carrying two bottles of alcohol. Almustaqiim refused to identify himself or provide an age to officers so he was detained.
Officers located a loaded 9mm handgun hidden in Almustaqiim’s pant leg. They also found prescription medication that did not belong to him.
Almustaqiim was booked for carrying a concealed weapon and for possession of a controlled substance. He was also cited and released for minor in possession of alcohol.
