The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office released more details regarding Wednesday’s one vehicle accident at Highway 43 and Pella Road south of Bennet.
A witness told authorities that a vehicle had left the roadway. Deputies arrived to find a 78 year old Lewiston man dead at the scene. He had just been released from a hospital and was suffering from a number of health conditions.
No one else was hurt and the investigation continues.
