Lincoln Police are investigating a burglary at the former LFR station at 2201 S 84th Street. A shed was was reported broken into at 8 a.m. on March 3rd.
The burglar likely gained entry by kicking and hitting the outside wall of a shed with a hammer. The hammer was left at the scene. A window on the shed was also found forced open.
Lincoln Water System employees confirmed that there was damage to a fiber cable and a switch was removed. The loss is estimated at $50 and damage to the shed is estimated at $970.
