A Lincoln Police officer spotted one person chasing two others around 12:30 Monday morning near 10th and South Street.
The officer conducted a stop and was informed that the two had shoplifted at South Street Liquor Store. The person chasing the two suspects was a store clerk.
One of the suspects was caught and taken into custody on theft charges. The other suspect has not been located. The investigation continues.
