A Lancaster County deputy spotted a vehicle traveling 72 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone at SW 12th and W Saltillo Road around 10:40 Saturday night.
Sheriff Terry Wagner says the deputy conducted a stop. The deputy then smelled marijuana coming from 62 year old John Card’s vehicle. Card stated there was marijuana inside and a search was conducted. Deputies found 23.8 grams of methamphetamine and paraphernalia along with $1,537 in cash.
Card, from Martell, Nebraska was booked with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, violating drug laws and he was cited for possession of paraphernalia and for speeding.
