A Lincoln man is recovering after a rollover crash around 10:20 Thursday night.   “A 58-year-old male was driving his blue Honda CRV west on W. Fletcher Avenue toward NW 20th Street, when he reported an animal darted in front of him,” says LPD Sergeant Chris Vigil.

“He swerved to avoid the animal but was believed to hit gravel, causing his vehicle to roll once and come to rest on the north edge of the roadway.”

When officers and Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews arrived they found the man trapped inside the vehicle.   He was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  The driver was not cited due to roadway conditions.
