Nebraska’s unemployment rate dropped to an historic, national low once again in December to 1.7 percent. That’s a decrease from the state’s rate of 1.8% for November 2021.

In Lincoln the December unemployment rate was even lower at 1.1. percent. Nebraska has maintained the lowest rate through much of the pandemic.
