Lincoln residents can learn more about bike, e-bike and e-moto safety Monday evening. The Lincoln Police Department, Lincoln Fire and Rescue and Safe Kids Lincoln-Lancaster County are teaming up for a safety event at Speedy Pete’s E-Bikes.
The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. at 48th and Van Dorn. Organizers will offer bike safety checks, helmet fittings and safety information. LPD Southeast Team officers will also be on hand to answer questions and help educate riders about bike, e-bike and e-moto safety.
The event is free and open to the public.
