A Seward Middle School student was killed and four other juveniles were injured in a one vehicle roll over crash Saturday afternoon.  The Seward County Sheriff’s Department says the preliminary investigation shows a Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling southbound on 210th Road when the driver lost control on a gravel road causing the vehicle to roll over.

The school district identifies the student killed as Nora Neff.   The other four juveniles in the vehicle were taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The school district sent this message to parents:  “We are saddened by the sudden death of Seward Middle School 8th grader, Norah Neff. Norah was involved in a car accident that occurred outside of Seward Saturday afternoon. Please keep
her parents, family, and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”

The accident is being investigated by the Seward County Sheriff’s Office and Nebraska State Patrol crash scene reconstructionist
