A Lincoln man suffered life-threatening injuries in a three-vehicle rollover crash Tuesday evening near North 27th Street and Cleveland Avenue.
Lincoln Police Lieutenant Jason Goodwin said officers and Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews were dispatched to the intersection shortly after 7 p.m.
“Investigation revealed a bronze 2009 Nissan Murano, driven by a 35-year-old Lincoln man, was northbound on North 27th at an excessive speed. The Murano struck the back end of a northbound white Chevy Silverado before rolling upright,” Goodwin said.
The Murano’s driver was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver and a passenger in the GMC Canyon were hospitalized with serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Police did not report any injuries involving the Silverado’s occupants. The crash remains under investigation. Police have not announced any citations or arrests.
The collision was reported at approximately 7:02 p.m. Tuesday, July 28.
